TO: Alan D. Ratliff, City Manager
FROM: Russell R. Doyle, P~ity Engineer
EAST DRAINAGE/TOWN HALL MEETING JULY 18, 1989
After a field inspection by Messrs. Ginn, Diano, Goram and Doyle, we
recommend a four (4) point plan, and that no City funds be expended. With
the exception of the Don Jones area, we recommend that the Homeowners do
the following in their easements:
1) Cut out all trees and under brush under twelve (12) inches diameter.
2) Remove fences in the floodway, that impede flow. (Only about two or
three places).
3) Clean out debris and mow until attaining a well landscaped grassed
easement.
4) No more dumping in the drainage easement nor in the backyards.
These are our recommendations for the Town Meeting scheduled for Tuesday,
July 18, 1989. We will discuss these further when we meet again with the
Mayor this week.
