Dear Mr. Widener:
On October 3, 1988 I found considerable fill material had been lot at
area whi, is in :ion of the City of Coppell's floodplain
ordinance and the Uniform Building Code Appendix Chapter 70.
Since the fill was placed in the floodplain in violation of the
above mentioned ordinances, you must remove the fill and supply the
city with a survey that confirms grades have been restored to the
original elevations. An alternative to the above solution is to
request approval from the Floodplain Administrator, Russell Doyle,
to allow the added fill to remain in the floodplain. Mr. Doyle may
be reached at 462-0022.
