First of all, the utility contractor is un
with the M.U.D. Unfortunately, we have no cont:
efficiency or scheduling. We have been requei
utilize two crews on the job since he started, bu'
complied. This is very frustrating to have a lac]
over something that we are paying for.
Secondly, we did lose six working days due
wet soil. I have been on the job during the
afternoon periods when school is starting and-~
Even when we had Samuel Blvd. rerOuted, buses al
moving in and out of the school without al
problems.
As it stands right now, the paving contract~
on to the job on October 10. This is the "outsid~
the utility contractor has given me by Whicl
finished with the storm sewer construction ul
Blvd. This is the section
our plans. Obviously,
instructed to begin the
improvements.
Russell Doyle asked me to write you concernil%g the delay
in our completion of the paving improvements to Samuel
Boulevard. As you know, construction delays arT costly and
benefit no one, but we have been unable to avoid them. At
this point, two factors have contributed to the :onstruction
schedule for Samuel being moved back.
