RE: Northlake Woodlands 10A- History
As per your request for overview history of Northlake Woodland
10, I submit the.., following: According to records submitted
to me by Randy Fleming-of Ginn, Inc., Crawford Utility moved
into site in latter, part Of May 1986. They completed the
installation .of 1/2 of the total utilities for Northlake
Woodlands (now known as "PH A") in September 1986. In August
1986 all water and sanitary sewer lines were tested and passed.
The sanitary sewer was then T.V.'ed and a plug was placed on
the down stream si'de of each man hole. The main line valves
were opened by the city to keep water circulating.
No work went forward' after September 1986, until I met with
Jimmy Crawford and Mike Bonney in the 1st part of April 1987.
At that time we opened all man .holes and found no excessive
amount of water, other than condensation. Then a 5% deflected
mandrell was pul~ed thru the s~wer mains and found lines to
be free of debris, obstruction or any collapsing or
disfigurement. All valve' stakes were intact and site showed
no signs of water leakage, and all valves operated smoothly.
In the latter part of May to first part of June, Mike Bonney
of Bonney Construction started, their cement subgrade preparation
and completed in the first of August. Paving started in August
and was completed in 'October. Clean up, punch list item, and
storm drain outfall modification were complete. Subdivision
was accepted by city November 19, 1987.
