Dear Mr. Vanderpool:
Our client is in the process of developing the Northlake Woodlands
East #12 project in Coppell, Texas. The site is located on the
Southwest corner of Mockingbird Lane and Belt Line Road, with the
St. Louis and Southwestern Railroad between Belt Line and the
proposed project. There is an existing 20' Continental Pipe Line
Easement within the proposed project and parallel to the railroad.
The City of Coppell Engineering Department is requesting our office
to obtain a letter of permission from your company which allows the
developer to place fill material within the Continental Pipe Line
Easement.
We have enclosed a print of the proposed grading plan highlighting
the proposed fill area within the easement. We will be placing
approximately 2' of fill material compacted to City standards and
will provide compaction tests if required. This fill is required
to remove the area from the floodplain zone.
If your company has no objections to this request, please state
your approval by letter addressed to our office. Please call if
you have any questions regarding this matter.
