Representatives from HEC Roofing, Johns/Manville, O'Brien & Associates, Butler Construction and HBC Engineering met to discuss the upcoming roof application for Buildings A and B. The following items were discussed. The system will be constructed with a johns/Manville four ply system, aggregate ballast, 1-inch perlite (mechanically attached), four plies of fiberglass felts and a modified SBS flashing. The roof is required to have a 1-60 wind up lift rating. However, the specifications do require that the fastener quantity be increased by 1.5 in the corners. The additional two plies of fiberglass flets will be required at all vertical flashing areas. The seam laps at the verti=al flashing and top edge areas will require a 6-inch webbing with roof cement (three course). Scuppers are to be 2 inches below the drain ring. HBC cautioned that this has been a problem with tilt wall panels, in placement. The contractor advised that corrections would be made if warranted. The curbs will be constructed in the field and will be constructed of wood. 99SS This report is exclusively for the useof Ihe client indicated ab°ye and shall n°t be repr°duccd except in M ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Pale 1 of 2 © O ~.: 0012893 7o 10.
