RE: Papa John's / Construction Plans
Dear Mr. Dewey:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments
to offer:
-~1. Provide a cover sheet.

~l ~ A street sign fee for "Keep Right" sign will be assessed.
~ The median nose needs to be rounded as shown in the City's Construction Details. Contact
Jeff Key, with TU Electric at (972)323-8907, to relocate existing light pole.
~.. ~ Dennis Slayton, Leisure Services Department, must be contacted prior to construction of
left-mm lane regarding the location of existing irrigation systems in the median. He can
be reached at (972)304-3554.
,T;..6~ The school zone bar must be extended across the proposed left turn lane.
--------7. Are you proposing curb along the north side of the development? If you are not providing
· ~,,,a. a curb, probably some type of barricade may be needed to prevent vehicles from driving
off the pavement.
.~ Provide the flowline of the proposed drainage orifice.
~ Provide the length and slope of proposed drainage system.
1~. What is the velocity of the drainage exiting the orifice? Concrete tip rap may be needed
to prevent erosion.
"----~11. Provide topographic information regarding how the drainage, once it leaves the property,
drains to a public drainage system.
t~"O~:~c- ~ Provide the flowline elevation of the flume draining from the parking lot.
~ 13. The City of Coppell's Construction Details must be used in the right-of-way.
~ 14. The paving must be 6" reinforced concrete on 6" lime stabilized subgrade for the fire lanes
and 5" reinforced concrete on 6" lime stabilized subgrade for parking areas. Any deviation
requires approval by the City Engineer.
J~. Show the proposed radius for the driveways.
.~A stabilized construction entrance needs to be provided as per COG's specifications.
~217. Erosion protection needs to be provided at the ouffall of drainage system. Also, what will

Please remove these plans from the Civil Drawing Plans.
There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the marked up plans along with two revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the
