Dear Mr. Daniel:
This letter is written as a follow-up to your February 17, 1995 letter in which you requested the
elimination of the headwalls at the outfall of Line A and Line B onto the Gateway Business Park
property. The owner of the referenced Gateway Business Park has requested the headwalls be
eliminated. Because the elimination of the headwalls is contained upon property by Catellus and
because Catellus will be responsible for any future maintenance, the City of Coppell does not
offer any objections to the elimination of the headwalls. The one comment that we do provide
is that an additional joint of pipe should be provided for both Line A and Line B so that a
minimum 3 to 1 slope can be maintained above and around the pipe.
