During the early discussions of Old Coppell Estates the concept of using gas street
lights was mentioned and it seems everyone agreed that it was a unique and worthwhile
concept. We have proceed with Lone Star Gas and we are planning on installing gas
lights in the subdivision. I believe that Ms. C.J. Kee and Mr. Kevin Paige have been
working with your staff to locate the lights and provide a sufficient number of lights to
meet your lighting requirements. Attached for your review is a plan showing the
location of the proposed lights.
Another issue raised in the early discussions was the maintenance of the lights. What '~.,Ih~°K~-C'3~
we have proposed is that the Homeowners Association maintain the lights. Attached }
for your review is a maintenance contract with T&F Building Products, Inc for the

Dear Mr. Blom:
Th~s letter is in reference to thc Old Coppell Estates Subdivisions to co~"m in v~a-iting
thc verbal proposal that has been expressed between Lone Star Gas Company and Wilbow
Corporation.
Wilbow Corporation would agree to the purchasing of 11 lights, model 3000 at $350.00
per light and 11 RSAXB 10' poles at a multiple unit cost of S680.00 each. The installation ,.,,'ill
be conducted by T&F Buildh~g Products.
If' Wilbow Corporation pm'chases the streeflighs, we will provide 32 yard lights at no
cost. You ,,,,,ill be responsible for the installation of the yard light,~ and payment to a contractor of
your choice. Attached is the service agreement provided by T&F~ wkich is applicable for both
street and yard lights.
Since the Ci~ of Coppell is requiring that you provide service for the lights, we have
requested several contractors to consider providing this seI~ice..at this time, only T&F has
responded.
Due to the fact that this is a pilot program, we must have a v~xiaen commimaent attached
to your Lone Star Gas con~raet stating tha: this program Mil be implememed bv the end of 1995.
