Dear Mr. Murray:
You are hereby given Notice to Proceed on sanitary sewer
improvements only for the Oakbend Addition utility improvement
project. A Notice to Proceed with water and storm drainage
improvements will be given as soon as final revisions have been
made. The design engineer has assured us that any furthur
changes are relatively minor in scope and will not affect design
of the sanitary sewer system. Should a design conflict arise,
the Developer (Centex Real Estate) has accepted all financial
responsibility to pay for design and construction changes.
Enclosed are two fully executed bound sets of contract
documents. Please forward one copy to your surety. Also
enclosed are three sets of sanitary sewer plans which have been
stamped by the City of Coppell as approved for construction.
Please make sure you have satisfied the City' s permit
requirements prior to placing utilities on site.
Let me know as soon as you have scheduled to move a construction
crew on site. A preconstruction conference will be held on the
jobsite prior to placement of utilities. The contract time will
begin as soon as the final plans for water and drainage
improvements are approved by the District and City of Coppell.
