Dear Ms. Daneshmand:
Attached please find items in response to your letter dated September 27, 1990, regarding the review by
KJmley-Hom of the flood study for Oakbend Addition.
A copy of the latest HEC-2 computer run that has been adopted by the City of Coppell is
attached. As Ron Morrison noted in his letter, the lO0-year water surface elevations are
lower in this model than the ones presented in our original Oakbend report. Aisc
attached is a copy of a revised drainage area map that shows the corrected lO0-year
elevations for both the existing and ultimate conditions.
The final plat has been changed to show a 'ffloodplain" line rather than a "floodway" line
at the back of the lots along Cottonwood Creek. With our intent of not reclaiming any
floodplain, this line does not change.
The minimum finish floors shown on the plat are higher than what is required by the
floodplain ordinance #87390. These finish floors reflect required lot grading to allow the
interior storm drainage to function as designed.
With these corrections, the final plat should be acceptable, ff you have any questions or need any addi-
