District reprosent~tJ~ves ,~ade a walkthrough of the project with representaLiv~s of the City of Copp~ll, Centex, Lacy and Murray on May 15, and agreed that these items need to be compJeted tc allow a ~inal inspection. In addition, there are ~everal items which have not been completed from an earlier walkthrough held to allow early starhup of construction on eight homes ~n the .~ubd~vis~on. A copy of the City of Coppel] Public Works Dept. Memorandum ~ontaining the pu~chl~st, dated April 23, 1991, ~s enclosed for your reference. P)ease schedu]e your equ~ pment and manpower to expedite completion of the enclosed punchllst, in accordance with contract documents, plans a~d speci£icat~ons. As you know, time is of the essence to .complete this project, as outiine.. ~n S~ction 28 of the contract special conditions. Contract time has been exceedeO on the project, so it ~s imperative that ~he work be complet ed as soon as possible. A final in.~pection and punchlis~ will be made once these items have been completed to the satisfaction of Coppell M~U.D. No. I, Clty of Coppel~. and Cente× representatives. No. 1 All water meter boxes must be cleaned out to allow visual inspection and working of the lower ball valve, meter yoke and check valves. Sanitary sewer manholes were checked at several locations and found to have silt and debris in the i~vert. Sewer lines must be flushed in these areas to remove all debris. The inside and outside of all manhole castings and adjustment ring~ should be checked to insure they are grouted to form a smooth finish. The utility contractor should contact representatives of the paving contractor if it is felt that these items are their responsibility. The lid must be placed on the sanita~'y sewer cleanout at Station 0+81.5, Line "F", to stop Silt from washing ~nto the sewer line. The fire hydrant at be lowered to be details. the corner of Oakbend Drive and Autumnwood must in accordance with City of Coppell construction The water meter bo~ on Lot 46, Block A has been damaged and must be replaced. Check all valve stacks, fire hydrants and cleanouts to insure they are p~inted in conformance with City of Coppell specificat~ons. Some were found to need additional coats of paint during the walkthrough. The outfall headwall at Sta 0+00, Line "C" must be placed and backfilled. An agreement was was reached by all parties to place a Modified Type "C" Headwall, graded to match the existing slope, in lieu of the Temporary Rip-Rap Headwall. The area around the headwall should be regraded to match the Ditchlines upstream and/or downstream of headwalls and inlets at Sta 6+30.38, Line "A-2"; eta 0+51, Line A-I" and Sta 0+00, Line "A-i" must be graded to drain and provide aesthetically pleasing, maintainable sideslopes (3~1 Max). The street repair patch placed during the construction of Storm Sewer Line ~-1 at the ~ ntersect ion of Coppell and Thweat Road is experi~nc~ng some alligator crack~ng. The pavement may be undergoing failure due to voids underneath the pavement, or a problem with the underly~.r,~ ~,~,~b-P '~ '~'~ situation must be field verified~ and correctiv~ ..~ ..... ~,~ _,_ ~'equired.
