Oakbend Addn-CS 910524COPPEL~. P~BLIC WORKS NAY 2 8 1991 By:. Engineering DATE = TO= FROM= RE= May 24, 1991 Larry Davis, Construction Inspector Rey Gonzales, Streets Superintenden~/ Oak Bend Addition/State Road Final Acceptance On May 23, 1991, I received a copy of an acceptance letter for the above referenced project. On May 22, 1991 I had sent you a memo/punch list concerning this project which covered three (3) concerns that staff has with this project. In your acceptance letter you only cover one of these concerns (erosion control/ undeveloped lots), a drive by inspection showed that the guard rail and concrete rip rap concern has been addressed as well. This leaves the following concerns still unresolved: The hydromulch of the slopes at the box culvert and along the open channel have yet to be addressed and the front slope along a portion of this ditch needs to be either concrete rip rap or cut to represent a minimum 3 to 1 slope. The signs on State Road are still in nonconformance with the TMUTCD and need to be corrected. The "Reduced Speed Ahead" and 15 mph signs need to be removed all together and an advisory plaque on the curve sign of 15 mph needs to be placed. These issues must be addressed before Street Division staff can support the final acceptance of this project. In future correspondence concerning final acceptance of projects, the Director of Public Works needs to be added to the list of names to be copied. If you have any questions concerning this matter please call. RG/mp cc: Alan D. Ratliff, City Manager Steven G.
