Re: Floodplain Review / 18.9 Acre Sandy Lake Road Property
Dear Mr. Skipwith:
This letter is written as a follow-up to our telephone conversation on August 23, 1996 in which
we discussed the possibility of Albert Halff Associates providing some floodplain review services
for the City of Coppell. As I indicated, we have a long term standing agreement with Kimley-
Horn and Associates. However, in a conversation with Roy Wilshire, with Kimley-Horn, he
indicated that at this time they do not have anyone on staff capable of handling the review and
the study would have to be sent out for review.
The contractual amount that the City charges the applicant for the review is $1,000 and as I
indicated that is a pass through cost directed to the reviewer. In this case, Albert Halff
Associates would provide the review and a report of any deficiencies in the study to the City of
Coppell. Along with the report, an invoice for $1,000 should also be provided to the City of
Coppell.
