Dear Mr. Koch:
I have received and briefly reviewed the proposed box culvert plans for the referenced
commercial development. Based on my review, it appears that the 8' x 6' box culvert
installed on a slope of at least 0.3% should have adequate capacity to convey the 419.6 cfs
of water shown to drain to this system. This letter refers only to the preliminary size of the
box culvert and in no way constitutes a review of the plans for this development. A
detailed plan review will be performed once a complete set of plans has been submitted.
