Dear Mr. Griffin:
Pursuant to Mr. Mike Martin's request last Thursday, this letter is requesting release of
the paving permit for the referenced project. Release of the paving permit is with the
understanding that the offsite drainage has not yet been resolved.
In regards to the status of the offsite drainage, it has been brought to my attention that
Mr. Steve Sears, with Insignia, was contacted last Friday by the owner of the adjacent
property and was promised a response soon. Any further design of the offsite storm
drainage is on hold until we get direction of where to locate the proposed offsite
drainage. As you are aware, an easement exists for the installation of the offsite storm
drain. However, construction in the existing easement would result in significant
disruption to the existing berm and landscaping. The new easement would reduce this
impact.
