Mr. Dowell,
Enclosed is a letter to Mr. Lee Hansen illustrating optional loca- .
tions for the sidewalk on Beltline Road at the Park West Commerce
Center in Coppell, Texas. The sidewalk is planned to be installed
with building permits over the life of the project and we would like
to plan for the sidewalk now. IE irrigation system location. The
option 1 is the subdivision ordinance specification and option 3 is
the landscape streetscape ordinance specifications. The other option
options 2 and 4 are not to be considered.
We are asking for your review of option 1 and 3. We prefer option 3
and we will tie it in to the crosswalks on Beltline Road.
Please review and comment so we may know how the City Engineering
Department feels by Monday, March 12, 1990.
Sincerely,
Thomas H. Pritchett

Sidewalk Options
Mr. Hansen:
Please review the following sidewalk options:
Option 1:
1. Sidewalk located as per city standards.
A. 5' wide sidewalk, 12" off of property line.
B. Relocation required for all rotar heads and valve boxes,
2' downhill or 3' uphill (which would provide poor
coverage) until sidewalk.is installed, or adjust angle of
through.
C. Main line will be covered by walk, 12" to 18" down. This
construction
is not a problem except for repair or
damage.

Notes:
1.
Relocation of rotars: They are on swing joints and can
be relocated by using a threaded nipple fitting. Would
require the same amount of time to move 12" or 3'.
Relocation of valve boxes or pour concrete in place if
city approves. Approximately 20 valves may be relocated.
Sleeving may be required under sidewalk at rotar heads if
located on uphill side of sidewalk.
Sincerely,
