Services: Structural steel inspection.
On this date, an HBC Engineering represenative arrived at the above referenced
jobsite as scheduled for structural steel inspection. The following was
inspected.
Reinspection of roof level metal deck installation between lines
A to L and 1 to 10.
1. Puddle welds were now determined to be compliant.
Initial inspection of roof level metal deck installation at
northeast and southeast high roof canopies.
1. Puddle welds and side lap screws were now determined to be
compliant.
Reinspection of column anchor bolts at lines G-3 and H-3 which
had short bolts.
As per the engineer, HBC was to witness the puddle welding
of these bolts to the column base plate. Workmanship
determined to be compliant.
