Services: Structural steel inspection.
On this date, an HBC Engineering representative arrived at the above referenced
jobsite as scheduled for structural steel inspection on the roof level framing
between lines A to D, 1 to 10 and lines D to H, 1 to 4. The results are as
follows.
1. Column anchor bolts were unable to be inspected due to
diamond being full of water.
2. Joist and joist girder seat welds were determined to be
compliant.
3. Joist bridging was determined to be compliant with
exception at the side walls.
4. Deck perimeter support angle not complete at splice
locations.
5. Column to joist girder moment connection strap plate
welds were determined to be compliant at lines H-3, H-2,
G-3, G-2, F-3, F-2, E-3 and E-2.
6. Field fixes at lines D-4 and C-1 and joist girder shim
plates were determined to be compliant.
