Flood Insurance Study
Dear Mayor Duggan:
This is to inform you that information has been received which may result in a
revision to the Flood Insurance Rate Map and Flood Boundary and Floodway
Map as noted below:

Project : Parks of Coppell Development
We are reviewing the data used to prepare the maps, and our consulting engi-
neers will be contacting you to discuss flooding problems. Please make
available to them any technical flood or topographic information you may have,
and let them know about information that you believe may be available from
other sources. After all technical data have been received and analyzed, the
maps will be revised, if necessary.

HYDROLOGIC & HYDRAULIC PARAMETERS
The hydrologic and hydraulic parameters for this project are those
used in a preliminary FIS report and Floodway Map dated November 2,
1982, which subsequently became the revised FIS report and Floodway
Map dated February 15, 1984. The HEC -2 models are based on the input
data for discharges, section numbers, cross section data and encroach-
ment stations of a run by Cawley Gillespie & Asociates, Inc executed
June 23, 1982 with a HEC -2 release updated August 1977, modification
53. The current project HEC -2 models were run with a release updated
May 1984, modification 56. This difference created only minor water
surface differences at the upstream sections, which appear to be
cumulative. The models presented are based on the water surfaces and
floodway encroachment stations as reflected in the February 15, 1984
report and Floodway Map.
