According to maps and records on file with the City of Coppell, there is
a flood way/flood plain delineation at State Road and Cottonwood Branch.
The projected high water elevation on the west side of State Road is 492
feet, mean sea level and 491 feet, mean sea level on the east side.
These elevations are taken from information furnished to us by the Corp
of Engineers and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
To deter~nine if your property is in this flood prone area, it will be
necessary for you to hire a Registered Land Surveyor, in the State of
Texas, to certify the existing elevations of your property.
The difference in these elevations will be the factors that determine
whether your property is in the flood plain or not.
