Dear Mr. McCann:
A Terracon Consultants, Inc. representative has continued to perform earthwork observation and
testing sen, ices for the referenced project. This report covers the services performed from
January 17 to January 29, 1994. Sen, ices provided during this period consisted of performing
field density tests on select fill placed in the building area and compacted clay fill placed in the
storm sewer excavation on the south side of the project.
Results of the field density tests performed during this period along with a standard Proctor tests
performed on a sample of select fill. Tests 323-325, 332-340, 346-348, and 364-372 were
performed in the storm sewer excavation. The remaining tests were performed on select fill and
were referenced to the northwest building corner which was given an assumed station of 0 south
and 0 east. Following the precipitation which occurred during the week of January 24, 1994,
any wet and soft select fill soils were removed prior to continuing fill placement.
