Dupey Management Corporation 9015 Sterling Street Irving, Texas 75063 Attn: Mr. Robert McCann Re: M J Designs Distribution Center Coppell, Texas lob No. 17931033 Dear Mr. McCann: A representative of Terracon Consultants, Inc. has continued to perform earthwork observation and testing services for the referenced project. This report covers the services performed from January 3 to January 15, 1994. Services provided during this period consisted of performing field density tests on compacted fill and observing water injection operations. Clay fill is being placed in the storm sewer excavation and in the northeast parking lot. We understand that clay fill below parking areas is to be compacted to at least 95% of it's maximum standard Proctor dry density (ASTM D-698) at a moisture content at least 3 % above it's optimum. Select fill is being placed in the building area and is to be compacted to at least 95 of it's maximum standard Proctor dry density at a moisture content of ±2%. Results of the field density tests performed during this period along with two standard Proctor tests performed on fill are attached. Tests 178 to 187 were performed on the northeast parking lot and tests 209-214, 225-227, 248-250, and 271-273 were performed in the storm sewer excavation. The remaining tests were performed on select fill and were referenced to the northeast building corner which was given an assumed station of 0 south and 0 east.
