Dear Mr. McCann'
As requested, a representative of Terracon Consultants, Inc. performed earthwork observation
and testing services for the referenced project. This report covers the services performed from
Dece~nber 16 to December 31, 1993. Services provided during this period consisted of
performing field density tests on compacted clay fill in the parking lot, and observing the water
injection in the building area. The moisture evaluations for the water injection will be
transmitted as results become available.
On-site clay fill was placed in the parking lot area on the north side of the building to an
elevation of about final subgrade. Based on our Subsurface Exploration Report (see Terracon
Report No. 1793507{3, dated October 8, 1993), fill placed below parking areas is to be
compacted to at least 95% of it's maximum standard Proctor dry density (ASTM D-698).
Results of the field density tests are attached. Tests 138 to 167 were performed directly north
of the building and tests 168 to 177 were performed northwest and northeast of the building.

of 0 north and 0
