Construction Plans
Dear Mr. Chovan:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments
to offer:
1. Title sheet needs to indicate drainage plans only. Also, the project location was shown in
the wrong place.
On the storm sewer plan sheet please address the following comments:
a. Show the existing 12" RCP storm drainage pipe and headwall underneath Executive
Drive. Also, provide note to grade the borrow ditch adjacent to Wrangler Drive.
b. Why is the 48" RCP headwall angled to drain outside of the existing 20' drainage
easement?
c. Provide a junction box where line A and line D joint the existing 24" RCP. This
junction box to set on private property.
d. It appears that there is a lot of runoff draining to the 10' inlet on line D. An additional
inlet i.e. grate inlet, may be needed.
e. Indicate the location of the roof drains.
There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the marked up plans along with two revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the
