Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 214-462-0022 December 14, 1995 Mr. William Dahlstrom 4000 Fountain Place 1445 Ross Avenue Dallas, Texas 75202 Re: Executive Drive Credits Dear Bill: Let me clarify the City's position regarding street impact fees for the second Marc Myers building to be constructed east of Executive Drive in the Park West Commerce Center. The City Staff will be bringing forward an Ordinance at the January 9, 1996 Council meeting that would, in essence, extend the implementation of the roadway impact fee requirement by one year, until January 20, 1997. When that Ordinance is adopted, Marc Myers would then have until January 20, 1997 to obtain a permit with an option for either the escrow or roadway impact fees since their property had already been through our development and review process prior to January 20, 1996. If no building permit is applied for before January 20, 1997, the only way possible that the City could consider credits towards the street impact fee would be through a Section 380 grant for economic development under our present guidelines.
