Dear Mr. Davis:
The utility contractor for the Pecan Hollow Addition project,
C. W. Young Construction, is now complete with the water,
sanitary sewer and storm drainage improvements. The contractor
has completed punchlist items from final inspections with Coppell
M.U.D. No. 1 and City of Coppell representatives. The Contractor
has submitted a 10% Maintenance Bond warranting the work for one
year from the date of final acceptance, and we have recieved
"As-built" plans from the design engineer.
As District's Engineer for Coppell M.U.D. No. 1, we will
therefore be recommending final acceptance of the project at the
June meeting of the Coppell M.U.D. No. 1 Board of Directors. We
understand that Doyle Cameron, project manager for Pecan Hollow
Joint Venture, has requested final acceptance of the project by
the City of Coppell, and full release of building permits for all
lots. As far as the utility improvements are concerned, we
concur with the request from Pecan Hollow Joint Venture.
Please let me know if there are any additional deficiencies you
feel need to be corrected by C. W. Young prior to final payment.
The Contractor has indicated they will expedite completion of any
such items to the satisfaction of all concerned parties. I
would appreciate it if you would forward me a copy of the City of
Coppell final acceptance letter when it is executed.
