SUBJECT: Drainage Channel and Trees Pecan Hollow Addition DATE: April 5, 1991 As per your request we have reviewed and site investigated the above referenced subjects. I provide the following comments based on my findings: - The referenced drainage channel, north of Pecan Hollow and west of Parkview Addition, appears to be on ABQ's Property (See attached exhibit D). - Pecan Hollow Joint Venture has been working with ABQ Federal Savings Bank for some time, in order to receive permission for drainage outfall and necessary easements. - There also exist~an agreement between ABQ and Pecan Hollow, called Mutual Drainage Easement. - Paragraph 5 and 7, of this agreement, provides more detail on the drainage easement improvements. It appears that either Pecan Hollow Joint Venture or ABQ has. .the right to make any improvements required by the City. - As agreed upon by both parties, Pecan Hollow must excavate the area of channel north of Pecan Hollow, as per attached cross-section diagram, Exhibit 'F'. - Attached please find a copy of the letter provided by Mr. Doyle Cameron, as a result of his meeting with Larry Davis on April 2, 1991. They are obligated to clean out the ditch along Block C. - This drainage channel won't function properly, unless it is maintained on a reasonably regular basis. - Regarding the three factors, as needed to fill to have a proper drainage layout and lot grading, etc., this may have necessitated loss of more trees than expected.
