Dear Shohre: ~)~ ' ~ '
Upon exposing the existing 10" sanitary sewer main ±n hodge
Road, it was discovered that there is a drop connection in a
section of said main between the manhole located 10.5 2eet south
of Pecan Hollow and the manhole located 282 feet north of sa±~
south property line. The new depth of the 10" main is 2.5' higher
than expected. Due to a clearance problem with ~he storm sewer
system, I would offer the attached re~±sions to said plans.
~ have discussed this with ~eff Hawkins, ?. D., ?ierce-hunsford
and the contractor, Chuck Young, C. ~. Young Construction, Inc.,
neither party had a problem with said change.
This change reflects the following adjustments to the bid items:
1. Addition of 101 L.F. 10" sanitary sewer main.
2. Deduct 7.5 L.F. 8" sanitary sewer main.
3. Addition of 42.5 L.F. 8" sanitary sewer stubout and plug;
(for future connection to the east).
4. 4.0' Diameter manhole and connect to existing 10" main.
Attached are three sets of prints for your files and three
additional sets for our use (Contractor, Pierce-Lunsford and
Dan M. Dowdey & Associates).
Thank you fo~ your immediate attention to this matter.
Very truly yours,
~l~iam ~. ~nderson~ Po ~.
