Construction Plans
Dear Mr. Chovan:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments
to offer:
1. Identify by lot and block and/or by business name of the development on the title sheet.
2. Provide copy of final plat.
3. Show radius of driveways on dimensional control plans.
4. Show hydraulic computations for proposed 39" RCP. Also, revise utility profile to show
the proposed 39" RCP.
5. On the water and sanitary sewer plan sheet, address the following comments. If you have
any questions contact Howard Pafford at 304-3545.
a. Locate siamese connection adjacent to fire lane (contact Jeff Jones, Fire Marshal at
304-3503 if you have any questions).
b. Loop on-site water line.
c. Provide a stortz valve on all fire hydrants.
d. Vault meters must be placed in right-of-way or easement.
e. Provide cleanouts as indicated on sheet.
f. Back-flow prevention devices shall be at each meter.
g. Provide a pressure indicator valve (PIV).
h. Move fire hydrant on west size of building to parking island as indicated.
i. Why are you tapping into 12" water line in Executive Drive when a service line is
being provided to the north of the proposed tap?
6. Provide detail of stabilized construction entrance.
There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you should have
