On March 16, 1995, McFadden & Miller, Inc. paid a 2% Engineering inspection fee of
$3,390.00 to the City of Coppell. Later it was determined that the fee should not have been
assessed by the Engineering Department but by the Building Inspection Department. The
Engineering Department only assesses a 2% inspection fee for work performed in the City's
right-of-way and/or easements. Since the proposed grading work will be performed on private
property, Building Inspections should assess the inspection fee.
Therefore, I am requesting that the 2% Engineering inspection fee in the amoum of $3,390.00
be refunded to:
