RE: Third Review of Landscape Comments for Peninsulas of Coppell
Dear Mr. Rhodes:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments
to offer:
1. The city will need a letter of notification from the Denton County Levy District allowing
the construction of the trail and needed maintenance for the trail before the plans are
approved and the project receives a final acceptance. Contact Rick Wieland at 304-3553
for any questions.
2. Show the existing guard rail on east and west side of MacArthur Blvd.
3. On the east side of MacArthur connect the sidewalk to the existing sidewalk at the bridge.
4. Adjust all existing valves and relocate existing fire hydrant. Also, adjust and relocate the
meters on the west side of MacArthur Blvd.
5. The existing sidewalk on the west side of MacArthur may need to be reconstructed.
6. On sheet C-3 of the Trail Plan, check with Rick Wieland at 304-3545 concerning the
location of the hike and bike trail at the bridge on the east side of MacArthur Blvd.
There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you should have
