Re: Parkway Blvd. West of Denton Tap Road
Dear Mr. Doyle:
This letter is in response to the note on the attached letter
from Jerry Parche Consulting Engineers. A quick review of the
plans enclosed with that letter indicates that road is being
constructed to Sta. 53+63.73 just east of the property line for
the Andrew Brown Community Park. It appears that Parkway Blvd.,
when extended to the west, will cross on to the park property at
Sta. 52+98.49.
It is our understanding that the Right-of-Way depicted on the
drawings you are referring to will be dedicated on a forthcoming
final plat.
Prior to City Council and P & Z consideration of Final Plat and
Engineering Plans, the DRC will review the proposed project. Mr.
Peiffer can give the necessary technical review at that time if
you so wish.

Dear John:
Enclosed is a print of our construction drawing of Parkway
Bouelvard extending west of Denton Tap Road for your use.
As I have advised you previously, the station of Denton Tap Road
at the intersection with the centerline of Parkway Boulevard
shown on the attached drawing (Denton Tap Road Station 191+12.08)
was determined using our survey ties for the back and ahead
tangents of the curve in Denton Tap Road, and the radius and
delta angle shown on improvement plans for Denton Tap Road
perpared by Ginn, Inc. This information enabled us to establish
the centerline of Denton Tap Road. We then projected the
centerline of Parkway Boulevard (As Built on the east side of
Denton Tap Road) to the west and determined the intersection of
the roadway Centerlines.
Our procedure to establish the centerline of Denton Tap Road as
described above required us to adjust the location of two
existing nails, which seemed to be the PC and PT of the curve in
the centerline of Denton Tap Road at Parkway Boulevard,
approximately 0.2 ft. to the north.
In order that the turnout you are designing for the extension of
Parkway Boulevard west of Denton Tap Road is located in
accordance with our plat and construction plans, I have also
included a prelimi~a.ry cop~ o~___Y~he Final Plat of "Parkway
Boulevard West" This plat gives dimensions to north and south
property corners of ABQ Development Corporation frontage on
Denton Tap Road. The dimensions are in accordance with
dimensions shown on the worksheet I provided you on October 29,
1988 and with the approved Preliminary Plat of "Parkway Boulevard
West".
Since our firms are preparing plans for Parkway Boulevard West
concurrently, it is important that we are in accordance on the
roadway location. Please use the ties to ABQ property corners
shown on the Final Plat enclosed for the location of Parkway
Boulevard West, rather than computed centerline stationing in
Denton Tap Road.

Also please be advised that there appears to be a difference in
elevation datum between your plans for Denton Tap Road and
elevations used on our construction plans. We have lowered
elevations on the Denton Tap Road improvement plans by 0.36 feet
to be in accordance with the elevation datum we are usinG.
Unless I hear differently from you, I will assume that the
location of the Parkway Boulevard West turnout shown on your
plans with regard to corners of ABQ Development property on the
west side of Denton Tap Road is in accordance with the dimensions
shown on the Final Plat of Parkway Boulevard West enclosed. If
we can assist you in locating ABQ property corners on Denton Tap
Road, please call. Thank you.
