Insurance Company , as SURETY, are held and firmly bound unto
City of Coppell , as OBLIGEE,
in the sum of SIX THOUSA~ ONE HUN]DRED TWO DOLLARS & 97/100 Dollars
($ 6,102.97 ) for the payment of which well and truly be made and done, we
bind ourselves, our successors and assigns, firmly by these presents.
THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That whereas the Principal
has entered into a contract with City of Coppell
for certain construction work set forth in contract dated 8-10-84
and included in the contract were the following specifications:
Water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer for Coppell Parks Addition
WHEREAS, the condition of this bond is that the contractor will, during
the period of one years from the date of completion of the work, make all
repairs which may be necessary due to improper materials or workmanship. In
the event the contractor.fails to repair defects property covered by the
Maintenance Guarantee within thirty (30) days after having received notice in
writing from the Obligee, including notification to the Surety, and the Obligee
having f~lly performed Obligee's obligations thereunderr, the Surety will promptly
remedy the default. The total amount of the su~ety's liability under this bond
shall in no event exceed the penalty hereof. This instrument may not be trans-
ferred or assigned without the written consent of Surety. Any suit by the
Obligee must be brought %ithin the aforesaid guarantee period.
