Construction Plans
Dear Mr. Pearce:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following
comments to offer:
1. In regard to the drainage plans, on-site drain_age needs to be picked up in a drainage
system before it enters Airline Drive.
2. Parking islands need to comply with the Zoning Ordinance.
3. Locate valves on both 8" water lines near the stub outs as indicated on Sheet C2.
4. The 2" meters in the class 55a box need to have 2" double check valves.
5. The islands shown on landscaping plans do not match what is shown on the paving
plans.
6. An erosion control plan needs to be provided.
7. A title sheet needs to be provided showing the projects name, developer and engineer.
8. A copy of the final plat should be provided to determine the proper location of
easement.
9. Provide plan and profile sheet for proposed drainage systems.
10. Provide a stortz valve at all fire hydrants. If you have any questions about this, contact
Howard Pafford, Water Superintendent at 462-8495.
11. The following comments were made by Rick Wieland, Park Manager. If you have any
questions contact him at 462-8495.
a) Irrigation plans need to be submitted, sealed and signed,
b) Meters, controllers, etc. need to be identified,
c) Landscaping Plans need to be in conformance with the Streetscape Plan,

The following comments were made by the Building Inspections and Planning
Department. If you have any questions contact Gary Sieb, Planning Director at 462-
0639.
a) Additional landscape islands required,
b) Irrigation plans required,
c) 30" berm or hedge required along Airline Dr.,
d) Parking lot layout different from civil drawings.
13. A siamese connection needs to be provided for Fire Department. If you have any
questions contact Troy Glidewell, Fire Marshal at 462-1133.
There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments have
been addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you
