On behalf of PSINet Inc., we request that the City of Coppell grant a variance to the
Subdivision Ordinance on the storm sewer pipe design criteria for the PSINet Addition
Lot 1, Block A. PSINet Inc. wishes to utilize 8" PVC rather than the 18" RCP for the
private storm drain laterals used to pick up the two roof drains located in the new
Courtyard area. Due to the limited area these roof drains will service, Pacheco Koch
feels that a 8" pipe will be more than adequate and economical in draining this area.
The proposed laterals will tie into an existing 24" RCP.
