l~, Re: PSINet Addition- Request [or Variance on the Pavement Design
Goppell, Texas
Dear Mr. Collins:
On behalf of PSINot Inc., we request that the City of Coppell §rant a variance on the
pavement desi§n for the PSlNet Addition Lot 1, Block A. The variance on pavement
desi§n is based upon "As Built" plans for the existing building, as performed by Halff
Associates of Dallas, Texas. The variance would allow for the new pavement subgrade
to be compacted to a min. of 95% Standard Proctor density without lime stabilization.
In order to provide additional stroh§th, the concrete strength will be increased to 4000
psi. Areas of light to medium traffic will have a concrete thickness of 5-inches, and the
fire lanes, truck docks, etc. will have a concrete thickness of 6-inches.
lhank you, for your consideration on this matter. If you have any questions or need any
additional information, please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
C. Jad'K Evans
