Dear Mr. Powell:
I am enclosing our bids on the screening wall for
DeForest Road per City Council action. Please review
the bids and let me know if you have any comments.
I have requested an Irrevocable Letter of Credit
from University Savings & Loan and they are prepared
to issue it as soon as you call me to give me your
approval. The amount of the Letter of Credit will
be $60,000.00 and the duration will be one (1) year
as we discussed.

We propose to furnish the necessary labor, material,, equipment and
supervision required to construct approximatley 12130 lineal feet of
six foot high concrete fence as per details supplied by Concrete
Walls, Inc. and as described below:
PIERS: A. 12' Diameter - 9'-0" deep (no bell)
B. One pier every 10 lineal feet under the fence
C. Reinforced with 2#6 rebars 13' -0" long (3#6 rebars at
pilaster piers)
FENCE: A. Six feet high - Six inches thick
B. Reinforced with #3 rebars at 12" on center horizontally
C. Reinforced with #3 rebars at 18" on center vertically
D. 4" x 16" Pilasters every'40 feet on center
PAD: A. The pad has been removed from the plans
NOTES! 1. Line of the fence to be furnished by others.
2. Concrete Walls, Inc. is not to be responsible for
damage to anything undergroungowhile drilling piers.
3. Sub-grade of the fence line to~.ithin ~.10 by others.
4. This price does include painting the fence.
CONTRACT PRICE: $38.70 per lineal foot (Field Measured)
