RE: The Reserve Addition
On November 24, 1998 1 visited the site known as The Reserve Addition to visually inspect the
creek bank. Walking with me on the project was Bill Anderson with Dowdey Anderson and
Associates, David Blum of Wilbow Corporation and another representative of Wilbow
Corporation. My visual observation of the creek indicates there to be a minimum of
approximately 300 linear feet of creek bank adjacent to the property that needs to be addressed
during the development of the property. Several options were discussed, such as gabions along
the bank and toe of the creek and/or some type of drilled piers in the bank.
It was discussed that the developer or the engineer would contact a geotechnical firm and possibly
Greg Olden of Olden Crabions, Inc. to have them visit the site and offer recommendations on the
best approach to the erosion protection. I did indicate that the areas that comprise the 300 linear
feet would be scrutiniTed during the review of the construction plans to insure that measures are
taken to protect the future homes adjacent to the creek in The Reserve Addition.
