RE: 150 Maywood Circle, Creek Bed Complaint: . Phi.llips
As stated in a memorandum dated September 23, 1988. (Varonich t~0 E)oyle.~'~'and.
repeated herein since reinspecting the creek bed site on May 30, it is aesthetically
,displeasing to see brick and concrete rubble in an intermittent stream bed.
I emphasize that judgment on proper covering of any City permitted fill material
should be from an engineering standpoint. I consider it trash to be removed when
it is exposed and observable, but not a health hazard in the sense of rodent harborage.
However, Article 9-8 of the Coppell Code of Ordinances specifies property owners
shell "remove...objectionable and unsightly matter from such property and co a
point fifteen [15) feet outside any such property line .... "
At this point in time, I would still hold Phillips to removing the rubble from the
creek bed from Meadowcreek north for about 80-100' behind the Maywood Circle
homes. ( See map)
