Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Dear Mr. Ratliff: With all that you are responsible for, recalling my name is highly unlikely. Therefore, allow me a couple of paragraphs to compose our phone conversation of approximately five (5) weeks ago. Behind my home, someone has dumped (approximately two years ago) concrete slabs, bricks, and rocks in an effort to raise the level of the creek bed. This landfill has not been finished, poorly done, on a city easement and on my property without my consent. I complained to the city engineer at that time and the city engineer came out, took a look, talked to the party responsible for the landfill, and assured me that everything was going to be taken care of. Two years later, the creek bed is an unbelievable eyesore from my patio, the value of my home has been depreciated and, most likely, there is long-term damage to trees in the area of the attempted landfill. Approximately 6-weeks ago, I had additional conversations with yourself and various city staff people on this matter and since then, have not received any response written or verbal. I probably made a mistake in not beginning this matter two years ago with a written document and, for that, I apologize. Please advise me of the status of this matter. A few years ago, I could walk in my backyard, walk down in the creek bed and see rabbits, squirrels and owls. Now, because the non-professional landfill has become home 'to rats, my family must stay away from the creek bed. Your attention to this matter {s greatly appreciated. Sincerely, JMS/md
