RE: Second Construction Review Comments for the Primrose School of Coppell
Dear Mrs. Jones:
The City of Coppell has received the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
1. Provide a final plat for the develop~nent in the next set of review plans.
2. On the grading and paving plans, the Fire Department has a concern with the height and
location of the speed hump shown on the plans. The)' would prefer a speed bump instead
that is 1' wide and 2" high at that location. Please contact Fire Marshall Jeff Jones at 304-
3503 for an)' questions.
3. In the speed reducer detail, use 6" white painted stripes and 5" white reflective pavement
markers per I.T.E. guidelines instead of what is shown in the plans. Also. I.T.E.
guidelines on road humps calls for 3" high and 12' wide asphalt humps. Are the speed
reducers asphalt, concrete, brick'?
4. In the storm sewer profile, change the pipe size dimensions of lines "A" and "B" to 24"
at the locations shown on the plans.
There are various other minor con'm'~ents throughout these plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the revised set ,,t' plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you should
