RE: First Construction Review Comments for the Primrose School of Coppell
Dear Mrs. Jones:
The City of Coppell has received the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
1. On the water and sewer plan, provide a grease trap at the location shown. Also, use a 90
degree or a 45 degree connection for the 4" sanitau sewer service line Use the City of
Coppell standard construction detail for the cleanout. Contact Howard Pafford at 304-3545
for any questions.
2. On the grading and paving plans, show the brick pavers on Heartz Road and Parkway
Blvd.
3. Show the pavement markings and signage for circulation in and around the site. This can
be shown on a separate sheet or on the paving plans.
4. At the locations shown on the paving plans, are the objects in the fire lane road humps?
If they are, please provide a cross section detail of it. Also. is the fire department in
agreement with the humps in the fire lane? Furthermore, humps should not be placed 50'
from the intersection.
5. In section A-A of the paving plans, provide 5" thick, 3000 psi concrete with 6" of lime
treated subgrade in the parking area.
6. In the storm sewer profiles, design the storm sewer so that the 100 year storm is inside the
pipe and not into the paving.
7 .Provide additional silt fencing at the locations shown on the erosion control plans.
8. On the dimension control plan, show the storage length and the dimension from the edge
of the sidewalk to the edge of curb.
There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you should
