North - Northlake Woodlands East residential subdivision, 'SF-9~ Single-
Family Residential zoning
South - Vacant, "C' Commercial zoning

West Vacant, "TH-I" Townhouse Residential zoning
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: The 1987 Comprehensive Plan shows the property as
suitable for open space, as does the proposed 1996

DISCUSSION: The proposed use is secondary to installation already in place within TU
Electrie's transmission line right-of-way and is relatively inconspicuous.
The antenna will be visible above the electric lines, but no more unsightly
than the tower structure itself. The accessory cabinet at the base of the
transmission line tower is 8' by 8', rising above the ground only 6'.
