Riverchase (4)-CS 930721COPPELL PUBLIC WORKS DATE: July 21, 1993 TO: Mike Hodge, Building Inspector FROM: Rey Gonzales, Streets Superintendent%t~/ ..... - Beacon Hill Drive RE: Mike, Steve Goram I have reviewed the retaining wall.plans and as long as we have a "Hold Harmless" statement associated with this wall we have no problem with it being placed in the drainage easement. The agreement must outline the facts that should the City ever need to access the drain pipe in this easement it will be the property owners responsibility to remove and replace the retaining wall. The city will not be responsible for any damage to this structure. However, since the wall is more than 4' high it does require the approval of the city Engineer. Therefore, I am forwarding the plans back to you for you to send to Engineering for their approval. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review these plans and if I can be of any assistance in this matter please give me a call. RG/rg cc: Steven G. Goram, Director of Public Works
