Chief Griffin, Steve Goram, and Steven Morton met for approximately
one hour on 2/11/88 with representatives from Nathan Maier
Consulting Engineers and Terra Companies. The topic of this meeting
was procedures for truck traffic crossing Sandy Lake Road. Trucks
will effectively stop prior to the north-south right-of-way of
Sandy Lake Road. This will enable truck drivers to verify that
flagment have traffic stopped and 6nder control.
Steven Morton and Lt. Mark Leonard will meet with Nathan Maier
Field Superintendent and Pyramids Foreman on 2/12/88 at 10:00
a.m. and instruct them on safety standards, traffic flagging
procedures, and operations in 'a construction zone. On Monday,
2/15/88, at 9:00 a.m., Lt. Leonard and Steven Morton will meet
with Pyramids flagmen and construction crews on flagging and safety
standards.
The construction area will continue to be monitored by Steven
Morton, at a minimum of four times a day. Nathan Maier on-site
representative, Tom Dixon, will, be responsible for monitoring
and enforcing provision throughout the day.
