Ken,
Last Tuesday, I talked with Jim and Clay about this matter and Jim indicated that he felt it was going to
possibly be quite a few months before the street project was going to be accepted due to some faults in
the concrete (I believe, but I have slept since then) anyway, he also indicated that we could entertain
scaling back the degree of landscape in an effort to minimize the cost of labor for maintenance once the
project is completed. I will be getting with you as soon as we are better prepared to move forward on this
and have a handle on the direction we are comfortable with in regards to minimal landscaping.

We need to meet on this. I'm not sure if you are talking about median areas or areas behind the back of
curb. A lot of the area behind the back of curb is HOA but several sections are the City's - ie. SE corner of
MacArthur & Sandy Lake, actually for the most part the entire south side could be city maintenance.
There is also some area around Moore Road on the north side that is questionable. I do not know the
criteria by which the City maintains r/w. The areas above are just the areas w/o an HOA.
Let me know about a mtg.

My staff is still asking me for clear directions about any right of way landscaping that needs to be done
with Sandy Lake Road. I can't remember if you and I have discussed this or not. Please let me know if
there are any sections of the Sandy Lake Right of Way that will need to be included in our landscaping
efforts.
