Riverchase(5)-CS 880718 CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC. July 18, 1988 Mr. Steve Morton City of Coppell 255 Parkway Blvd. Coppell, Texas 75019 Re: Riverchase Drive Sanitary Sewer NDM No. 87-12-151 Dear Steve: The 15-inch sanitary sewer line which serves as an outfall line for the Riverchase Development discharges into a 33-inch TRA interceptor on the north side of the railroad. Since the TRA line is running relatively full and the Riverchase line currently has no flow, water is backing up to some degree into the Riverchase collection system. Although this situation will likely cause the deposition of some solids in the Riverchase line, we do not foresee any major or permanent negative effects resulting from this condition. The deposition that does occur will be mitigated by the fact that the flow line of the Riverchase line is over 0.6 feet above the flow line of the TRA line. This will cause the heavier solids to bypass us. Once Riverchase begins to develop a flow, the problem will be resolved. It may be necessary to flush the line in the early stages of use to insure its proper operation. Sincerely, NATHAN D. MAIER CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC. Mike Daniel, P.E.
