In response to the point of entry request dated March 14, 19;4, theAJthority
has reviewed the construction standards to be utilized for the point of entry.
The Authority approves your request based upon the information submitted, which l)~
includes the construction plans dated March 4, 1994, for Riverchase Plaza,
Phase I, as designed by Winkelmann & Associates, Inc., for the City of Coppell,
Texas, but is subject to the following requirements:
The Central Regional Wastewater System Engineering Field Services
Division must be contacted at (214) 263-2251 at least 72 hours prior
to construction. If the Authority is not notified, the Authority
reserves the right to request the contractor to excavate his work for
inspection. All inspections shall be performed by Authority personnel
only. City inspectors are not responsible for Trinity River Authority
facilities.
All points of entry must be constructed within one year after their
approval by the Authority. Any alterations to the plans concerning
the Authority's facilities must be pre-approved by the Authority.
3~ A preconstruction meeting between the contractor, the City of Coppell
and the Authority will be required prior to construction.

All PVC connections shall use an A.C. coupling with O-ring gaskets and
use the core drill method of entry only. The 8-inch PVC connection
shall be concrete encased 3.0 feet from the manhole.
5. Wastewater service for Riverchase Plaza, Phase I, shall not commence
until the Authority inspects and accepts the point of entry.
6. A standard TRA manhole shall be constructed at the proposed point of
connection, per Sheet 8 of 22 of the construction plans.
The proposed 8-inch PVC connection and manhole shall be constructed in
conjunction with a Permit for Riverchase Plaza, Phase I, currently being
processed. This point of entry shall be metered at Meter Station 17.0E.
