Construction Plans
Dear Mr. Middleton:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following
comments to offer:
Provide brick pavers for driveways along MacArthur Blvd. as required in the
City's Streetscape Plan.
2. Use the City's Standard Detail for handicap ramps.

On Sheet 2, provide stripping/buttons and signage as indicated on the plans. If
you have any questions, contact Atul Patel with the Engineering Department at
393-1016.
4. Provide an Erosion Control Plan for temporary and permanent erosion control.
Address the following comments made on the water and sanitary sewer plan
(Sheet 4):
a. Do not place vault in sidewalk. Provide an easement for vault placement.
Need to submit point of entry documents, completed and ready for
submittal. Contact Bob Roth with Trinity River Authority (TRA) at 214
262-5186.

Provide a detector meter assemblies with by-pass and double check valves
in separate vaults. If you have any questions contact Howard Pafford,
Water Superintendent at 462-8495.
d. Make corrections to "General Notes" as indicated on the plans.
In reference to sanitary sewer profiles (Sheet 5) provide a drop manhole per the
City's Standard Details (verify with TRA).
There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments have
been addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you
